Wedding: Julie & Tom: Holly Hedge Estates, New Hope, PA

Like This!

Over a month has past but I still wanted to highlight a wedding I second shot for Kim Salem on June 6th.  The wedding took place at the Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, PA.  About 5 miles from this place as I was driving in I literally thought I was going over the rainbow.  It is located out in a gorgeous wooded area in Bucks County.  It really does as their website says “only feels far away”.  If you are looking for a fairy tale location for your wedding then check out their website here for more information.  The grounds are absolutely suited for fabulous photography.  The location of the ceremony was spectacularly lit and had a magnificent stone wall exposed creating an awesome backdrop.  They pay attention to detail which counts for so much these days!

I think being a new Mom has made me more aware of children in every situation in my life and how precious they can be.  This wedding in particular was memorable because there were a great deal of children involved in the wedding as well as guests.  I feel as though this is rare for weddings these days.  They certainly made for awesome subjects, especially following the ceremony when they were able to explore the grounds a bit.  I found it a bit difficult to catch kids in a moment as they seem to always have their eye on you.  This makes for great practice with capturing in a  photojournalistic style.

So without further ado I present my picks from this memorable wedding.  Congrats to Julie & Tom!

Thanks for reading!  Come back again soon for more moments in the pursuit of wedding photojournalism!

P.S.  Kim – Thank you so much again for letting me accompany you on this really awesome wedding!
