Chris taking care of business during the group portraits

My second to last wedding for the year I was invited to shoot for Christopher Barth.  I never met Chris face to face but we both participated in a group called Fast Track Photographer FEO NYC.  FEO stands for:  For Each Other that originated from a prominent photographer named Dane Sanders.  There are FEO groups all over the world but we belong to the one in New York City.  Once a month we would get together at one of the group members houses to talk about ways to help each other succeed in this ever-growing market of wedding/event photography.  As I said we never met face to face as it was pretty difficult for me to get into the city so they included me via web chat on Skype.  FEO is a great way to meet and develop professional relationships with photographers.  Weddings are super hard to complete alone so having a group of go to associates makes life much easier.

Chris was a pleasure to work with.  He has a funny sense of humor too.  I ended up giving him my CF cards at the end of the night to take home to copy.  He sent them back to me in the mail and put a note on them…by the way I went ahead and formatted them for you 🙂  Of course he was just kidding but I still put them in the computer right away to make sure.  As far as working with him he let me do my thing and knew from my work that he wouldn’t have to tell me to be where he needed me to be.

So thank you Chris for allowing me to be your back up on Denis & Tom’s big day.

Here is a couple of moments that I thought you may like to see (the little girl was so adorable I couldn’t help but snap so many of her throughout the day):

Thank you so much for checking out my latest post.  I appreciate your time and attention!
