Save the Date Mini Portrait Sessions

Wedding websites are the popular new trend for any engaged couple.  It is a great way to inform your guests of details about one another, share how you met, highlight your wedding party and any important info about the wedding day itself.  One of the important pieces of the site is a gallery of images that a couple uses to highlight significant moments in their relationship.  Another big to-do on any couple’s list is to send out a save the date.  These give guests advanced notice of the wedding date and location ahead of sending out the invitations.  Both the wedding website and save the date may require recent photos of the engaged couple.

If you are an engaged couple and may not have time in your busy planning schedule to fit in a full 2 hour engagement session then consider a 10 minute mini portrait session.  For a limited time (Summer 2014) I am offering them free of charge to any engaged couple who graciously gives me their time by booking an in person meeting with me.  In person meetings are a must to really get to know who I am as a person and artist.  It allows me to get a sense of your vision and expectations of what you are looking for in your photographer.  It is important to see if our personalities match up and that we find commonalities to make for an enjoyable experience working with one another.  This time also allows me to show you lots of sample work including sample wedding books, heirloom photographs (canvas and metal prints) as well as an example of my original black and white charcoal drawing, the ultimate heirloom.  Before the meeting concludes I will provide you with a mini portrait session to obtain 3-5 images for use on your wedding website, social media sites and save the dates.  These images are fully edited and yours to keep no matter if you decide to book with me.

Here are examples of two of my couple’s who received their mini session images for use on their wedding sites:

This is a great opportunity especially if you are approaching the deadline for getting those save the dates out and need an updated photo of the two of you ASAP.  (Incidentally, I can also design and print your save the dates, taking one more responsibility off your long to-do list.)

Here are a couple other images from my mini portrait sessions I would like to share with you:

All the best,
